Introducing the talking shopping list

Conversation as were arrived at the supermarket this afternoon.

Me: Poop. I forgot my shopping list
Rooster: Don't worry mum. I will be your talking shopping list
Me: Could you? Do you remember what was on it?
Rooster: Sure do! Cat litter. Butter. Hundreds of thousands.Toilet paper.....

I tell you that list was spot on, word perfect.

We have a new after dinner activity. After the table was cleared and wiped, the cards were dealt and laid out. Eyes focussed on the colours and numbers and on the special cards, the "switchero" and the dreaded miss-a-turn. The rooster won the inargural two games. Tonight he was the doppio uno of uno.
