A little Eastern Yellow Robin flittering between a branch and the ground cover. Flit, drop, flit drop until Bingo! He pulled out a worm. The Rooster was delighted.
An Eastern Spine bill foraging on the lower shrubs, sticking it's long beak into the winter natives. "Birdy! Birdy!" Missy called out as we peeped through the window.
sadly I wouldnt know a swallow from a seagull - you, on the other hand, are a bit of a bird expert I think.
ReplyDeleteGreat drawings from Missy and Rooster
Monique these photos are so stunning! Wow, I just love them.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet birdies. We love in the middle of suburbia, but we still get visits from some very lovely rosellas. The kids were very quiet in the backyard the other day, so I poked my head around the corner, and they were sitting together watching the rosellas play in a tree. "Shh mummy, don't make a noise," Caleb instructed. So cute.
ReplyDeleteI love children's art. I can't wait to have a flock of kids and I'll just plaster the place with feathers-sans-birds.
ReplyDeleteI already have a few treasures from kids.
